At Creel, your footage and your trust are everything. This policy explains what we collect, how we handle it, and the strict limits we put on data retention.
What we collect
When you use Creel, we process the video files you upload solely to render your cinematic captions. Your upload and the finished render are stored only as long as needed to deliver them to you — one hour — and are then deleted automatically. We also collect basic account information — your name, email, and authentication credentials — to provide the service.
How long we keep your footage
Your upload and your finished render are held only for the one-hour window in which you can download or edit them. After that both are deleted automatically from our storage, and the links to them stop working. We do not archive your footage, use it to train models, or retain it for any other purpose. To keep a render, download it within that hour.
How we use account data
Account data is used to authenticate sessions, manage your subscription tier, deliver renders, and contact you about service updates. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
Third-party services
We rely on third-party providers, each bound by its own privacy obligations: Modal for GPU rendering, Cloudinary for the temporary video storage described above, Supabase for accounts and authentication, Google Gemini — which receives the transcribed text of your video, not the video itself — to decide caption styling, and Polar as our merchant of record for payments. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be collected to improve the product.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at creel.model@gmail.com.
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or via email.
